Acceptance of the below terms and conditions related to the participation in any Connect Minds’ event is considered a contract between the Organizer (Connect Minds Kft.) and the Client (organization sending participants and paying for the participation fee) where the Organizer runs a conference made of a program with sessions presented by different speakers, breaks, refreshments, lunches and networking activities.
The conference fee paid by the Client to the Organizer includes access to the presentations, room rental at the venue, audiovisual equipment and food & beverages during breaks and lunches – all of these services being re-invoiced to the Participant by the Organizer.
For the validity of the contract:
Payment is due in full within 5 working days from the time of registration (time of registration means either the moment a completed online booking is filled in and sent or when a confirmation email is received by the Organizer from the Participant).
Registration is confirmed and effective only once payment is received by the Organizer.
Cancellations received within the 5 working days after registration are subject to a 50 € (fifty euros) administrative fee.
No reimbursement will be made passed the 5-working day delay after registration.
Registration corresponds to a package – all our events include access to the conference room for presentations, refreshments, lunches, detailed conference materials and technical equipment used to run the event.
F&B and technical services are provided by external parties (hotel and partners). They are included and re-invoiced in the participation fee (ticket).
VAT is applicable to conference tickets – as per the directive 2006/112/EC, article 52 of the EU VAT Law in date of 28th of November 2006, “the place of supply of the conference services shall be the place where the services are physically carried out”. In other terms, the VAT rate of the country where the event takes place applies when paying a conference ticket.
We accept credit card (VISA and MasterCard only – American Express cards are not accepted) and bank transfer payments. Credit card payment is processed through CIB Bank – Intesa Sanpaolo Group. Currency of payment may vary depending on location. Connect Minds are not responsible for possible additional exchange fees that may occur.
Participant substitution is allowed provided it is requested in writing to email@example.com maximum 1 week before the event takes place.
Cancellations are possible and conditions described below apply, but reimbursement is not possible if the cancellation is received after the 5-working day delay after registration.
Cancellations received in writing up to 14 (fourteen) days before the event are subject to a 10% administration fee. A credit voucher of the 90% remaining will be issued to be used at another Connect Minds event taking place within 1 year from the date of issuance. No reimbursement will be made.
No credit will be issued for cancellations received less than 14 (fourteen) days before the event takes place.
If Connect Minds cancels an event for any reason other than a fortuitous circumstance, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other circumstances that render performance of this event impracticable, illegal or impossible (including international pandemic break-out), you will receive a credit for 100% of the contract fee paid. You may use this credit within one year from the date of cancellation for another event to be mutually agreed upon with the organizer.
In the event that Connect Minds postpones an event for any reason and the Participant is unable or unwilling to attend at the rescheduled date, you will receive a credit for 100% of the contract fee paid and will be able to use it in the same terms as for a cancellation by the organizer.
Failing to attend a non-postponed event will not trigger the right for the Participant to request a credit voucher to be used at another event.
Except as specified above, no credits will be issued for cancellations. There are no refunds given under any circumstances.
Connect Minds is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration or cancellation/postponement of an event.
Connect Minds shall assume no liability whatsoever if an event is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of this conference impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labor strike, extreme weather, force majeure, pandemic break-out or other emergency.
Note that speakers and topics are confirmed at the time of publishing. However, circumstances beyond the control of the Organizer may necessitate substitutions, alterations, changes or cancellations of some of the speakers and/or topics. Connect Minds reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics if necessary without any liability to the participants. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated on the web page of the event within acceptable notice time.
All discounted rates require payment at time of registration and before the cut-off date (if applicable) to be valid.
Any discounts offered by Connect Minds partners must also require payment at time of registration.
2 discount offers cannot be combined – discounts applied on standard fee. Early-bird or discounted rate apply whichever best.
Only Participants with paid registration and in possession of their confirmation email will be given the right to attend the conference.
The Organizer reserves the right to refuse the access to the conference to any person registering on the website if their participation objective is not clear or cannot be described properly.
