What to do in Budapest?

If you have some time after the conference

  • Walk to the castle hill and enjoy Matthias Church and the Fisherman’s Bastion (stunning views on Pest and the Parliament)
  • Reach out to the Parliament either by foot or via Tram #2 to admire the architecture of the building which for sure validates the knickname of Budapest as the “Pearl of the Danube”
  • On your way there, you should make a stop at the St Stephen Basilica, it is totally worth it!
  • Visit Margaret Island for a breath of fresh air and green surrounding in the middle of the city
  • Why not taking a relaxing dip at one of the many thermal baths of the city: Széchenyi, Gellért, Rudás… (some of them close late at night)

A few suggestions of restaurants & bars (we suggest you to book in advance to be sure)
